The industrial logic is straightforward. Materials discovery is a genuine bottleneck in chip manufacturing. Applied Materials reported in March that a single reaction discovery run of roughly 15,000 pathway searches — which previously took one and a half weeks on 400 CPU cores — could be completed in five hours on a single Nvidia B200 GPU. That is not a branding exercise; it is a compute and physics problem sitting squarely inside the AI supply chain.
A Founder Team With Deep Scientific Pedigree
